First of all I want to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you that sent me good wishes, flowers, Tim's or called me to see how I was doing. It was all very appreciated.
Over two weeks have past since I flipped my van on the side of the road, and most of my injuries are well on the way to recovery. The bruising is nearly gone... and basically most of the pain is limited to my middle right rib section, and of course, my back (which has always been my Achilles tendon anyway).
I managed to put $12,500 worth of damage on the van (as Chris said, "One hell of a first scratch") and I am waiting on the repairs, which in total will take around 3-4 weeks. I am without a vehicle since the accident (due to opting for cheaper insurance without rental coverage - its not like I need it to get to work too often) but cabin fever is definitely setting in! Big time. Mind you, I am not to eager to get back behind the wheel anyway.
I have found a bit of time on my hands to build and actually catch up on some chores. In the process of sorting out somethings like organizing all the crap stored on various SD cards. I was caught off guard... somehow in the hustle and bustle of everything going on I forgot about the pics of the van I had taken while collecting my personal items prior to the tow truck arriving.
Here are a few for the morbidly interested (giggle)...

Oh well. Life goes on... albeit a bit of a slower speed currently.
Once again, thank you all for all of your support.
Correction to my last post...
I said "Last night the OPP reported 400 accidents on the roads yesterday.
I don't know what happened with 399 of them, but one of them I know way too well."
Well at that time, that was the truth, but since then I have learnt a very weird coincidence. A good friend of mine also trashed her car the same day. This happens to be the same friend that I tend to share other mild stones with in the same time frame, college, pregnancy, marriage, second pregnancy... so it was pretty much in line with all the ley lines and silver cords. Thankfully she is fine, but I can not say as much for her car.
I will end with this... Thankfully Spring is here, and
HOPEFULLY Spring weather will shortly follow.
